A Journey of Inclusion and Impact: Nadia’s Story

As someone who was moved by the commitment to providing quality education to every student, Nadia joined Equal Education to be a part of a mission she deeply believed in. Her journey is a true testament to the profound inclusion, empowerment, and in-depth commitment that tutoring can offer.
Here’s Nadia’s story in her own words:
I’ll never forget the moment I first heard about Equal Education. It was not just the promise of new academic enrichment that caught my attention: it was the underlying mission-a commitment to providing quality education to every student, regardless of their backgrounds. As someone who has always been inspired by a passion for helping under-resourced students, , I knew I had to be a part of them. Little did I know, joining Equal Education would be a journey of profound inclusion, empowerment, and in–depth commitment to my career’s inspiration.
From day one, my tutoring sessions fostered an environment of genuine inclusion. It was not just clicking on the email with opportunities: it was about creating a space where diverse voices were not only heard but actively valued. Soon, my routine transformed into a series of meaningful tutoring sessions packed with passion, joy, and creativity for me and for my students. Supporting individual needs was not only challenging, but also rewarding and fulfilling when I witnessed students overcome obstacles and achieve their academic goals. Tutoring gave me the independence to work according to my own schedule and develop my own unique tutoring style. Witnessing my students thrive and achieve academic success filled me with immense pride and excitement, knowing I played a significant part in their growth.
The flexible hours offered by Equal Education empower me to pursue my university degree without sacrificing financial stability. My undergraduate psychology coursework includes a focus on the cognition and behavioural strategies that can be used to effectively teach children with ADHD and maximize their learning potential. I am confident that my psychology degree and my work with Equal Education will complement each other, allowing me to provide even more effective support to my students.
