Equal Education provides specialist 1:1 tuition programmes and digital technology supplies, with a main aim to tackle educational inequality. We only work with qualified teachers, ensuring that every young person can develop the trust and skills they need to thrive. Our tutors have the experience, skills and expertise to support learners in reaching their full potential, by improving engagement and attainment as well as self-confidence, and by overcoming barriers to learning. We manage the logistics of tuition, and we provide tailored progress reports for each student. Our robust safeguarding policies are at the centre of everything we do.

Our digital technology supply:

Part of our commitment to tackling education inequality involves tackling the challenge of the digital divide.

Equal Education provides managed devices, (iPads with keyboards) protected by specialist software to make online learning accessible, safe & covid-secure for all. This can be delivered directly to the school or the student depending on the child's needs.

  • After confirming the number and tier of devices needed, Equal Education orders and delivers the devices to the parent/carer/teacher with updates and guidance on setting up the device. 

  • Each device is installed with specialist protection software which enables Equal Education to limit distracting and dangerous website or apps, maintain safeguarding features, and locking down stolen or lost devices. Additionally, devices are locked into our management, thus preventing unauthorised sale of the device, guaranteeing only selected students benefit from these devices.

  • Each device will already have all the software pre-installed on the device, with no changes or updates needed by users. 

  • Each device is insured, meaning accidents and mishaps aren’t the end of the world.

  • Children and carers will be onboarded to ensure they are comfortable with the device and its educational usage.

  • Through collaborating with students from UCL, Apple Education and our tutors, we have produced a list of vetted educational Apps and can curate an engaging digital experience for our students, as per their individual requirements and goals.
