New Term: A New Year Note from our CEO

I would like to wish all our colleagues, students, tutors and guardians a very happy new year. After a testing 2020, we begin 2021 with challenges of equal footing.

Despite the development of vaccines and regional lockdown measures, we find ourselves in the midst of the pandemic again with all the ensuing upheaval and uncertainty.

My team is diligently working through these challenges. We have issued our own guidance to tutors based on our interpretation of government guidelines with Covid 19.

Our priority as an organisation is to ensure our students, tutors and wider stakeholders are all kept safe and healthy.

At the same time, we are acutely aware of the damaging effects to education and development this pandemic is having, particularly for the young people we work with.

We will be assessing the situation on a daily basis and communicating with all parties where necessary to make the best decisions for our young people, tutors and parent/carer and Local Authority partners. Should the current situation escalate, we will bring back our Covid Crisis Centre that we established in March last year.

I wish you all good health and firmly believe we can get through with the spirit of teamwork and collaboration.

Happy New Year,

Paul Singh, CEO
